Helen Milner OBE, Group Chief Executive Officer
Helen founded Good Things Foundation in 2011. With over 30 years of experience in online education, she has been a driving force in digital inclusion, receiving an OBE in 2015 for her contributions and being named Digital Leader of the Year in 2017. Further recognised as one of the most influential people in UK IT by Computer Weekly in 2020, Helen has served on the Speaker's Commission for Digital Democracy and advised the Public Accounts Committee on digital engagement. She is a Board Member of FutureDotNow, and sits on the Minister’s Digital Skills Partnership Board and the Adult Advisory Group for the Money and Pensions Service.
Helen spearheaded the establishment of the Good Things Foundation Australian subsidiary in Sydney in 2017 and the development of the Be Connected Network for the Australian Government.
Lisa Brown, Chief Operating Officer
Lisa leads the way for our Digital Inclusion Delivery, People & Culture, Corporate Services and Technology teams. With over 30 years of experience in programme and project delivery in senior roles in the learning and skills sector, Lisa leads our strategic plans, resources and risk management. Lisa oversees the development of high-quality and efficient technology, business processes and corporate support services and ensures we have secure, well designed and robust digital services to support centres and beneficiaries and we are compliant and efficient as an organisation.
Prior to joining Good Things, Lisa led large-scale programmes to deliver national professional assessment systems for children's social work, many iterations of the National Careers Service and was Head of Learning Products at learndirect.
Emma Stone, Director of Evidence and Engagement
Emma leads our Research, Data & Insights and Communications, Campaigns & Advocacy teams, specialising in service design, user research, evaluation, data insights, marketing, communications and advocacy. With two decades of experience in research, policy, and practice, Emma joined Good Things in 2018 from the Joseph Rowntree Foundation, where she directed the Policy and Research department on issues such as poverty, housing, and race equality.
A social researcher by training, Emma uses her expertise in social, economic, and health inequalities to shape our strategy and delivery. Passionate about social justice and tackling inequality, she brings enthusiasm to partnerships and believes in co-designing solutions with community partners and those with lived experience.
Adam Barlow, Associate Director of Finance and Corporate Services
Adam is a chartered accountant (ACCA) and brings a mix experience in private practice and large corporates. He leads the finance team at Good Things, responsible for ensuring our funding is used in accordance with the terms on which it has been granted, monitoring & identifying risk in levels of funding / income and ensuring compliance with relevant charity standards and accounting legislation.
Prior to joining Good Things, Adam spent 5 years with Arriva’s public transport business, leading a number of profit improvement projects and tender bids for public bus contracts. His brings 15 years of expertise in cost management, budgeting and bidding skills to help Good Things grow and prosper.
Natasha Bright-Wray, Associate Director of Communications, Campaigns and Advocacy
Tash leads our Communications, Campaigns and Advocacy team to raise the profile of Good Things and ensure our work both reaches and impacts a complex ecosystem of stakeholders through compelling campaigns. Tash stewards strategic partnerships, elevates our advocacy and public affairs and makes sure our National Digital Inclusion Network receives critical communications effectively and efficiently.
Tash brings several years' experience heading up busy marketing and communications teams in the charity sector. At Power to Change, she led on delivering communications through Covid-19 resulting in a new strategic direction, towards policy influencing with the organisation’s largest digital campaign, increased focus on EDI and income generation.
Sital Mistry-Lee, Associate Director of Digital Inclusion Delivery
Sital directs the digital inclusion delivery service for our National Digital Inclusion Network, heading up our Product & Services, Network Support, Recruitment & Activation and Community Engagement & Experience teams. She ensures our service delivery is mission-led, effective and efficient, delivering positive outcomes for digitally excluded people and the thousands of community organisations who support them.
Prior to Good Things, Sital worked in several operational roles in the Retail sector supporting national network of stores with communications, processes and procedures. Notably, she delivered Asda's local community programme, working with 300 colleagues based in stores across the UK.
