About Get Online Week
Get Online Week is Good Things' annual digital inclusion campaign. It's been held every year since 2007 and is back for 2024 from October 14-20th!
In collaboration with our strategic partners, supporters, and the National Digital Inclusion Network, we aim to help tens of thousands of people discover the benefits of being online and build their confidence in using the internet through free, fun community events.
Last year, over 865 events were held, supporting over 16,000 people to cross the digital divide in just one week. Help us reach even more people this Get Online Week!

What happens during Get Online Week?
This year, Get Online Week will run 14-20th October and feature hundreds of events across the UK.
Hosted by local organisations and National Digital Inclusion Network members, these events cater to unique community needs and interests. From fun techy tea parties and online scavenger hunts to supportive learning sessions, each event aims to teach a new digital skill that will allow attendees to experience and understand the benefits of getting online. If you’re an organisation and support your local community, consider hosting an event!
We also work with our strategic partners and supporters to amplify our campaign message: that everyone deserves an equal opportunity to benefit from being online - and that free support is out there. Can you help us spread the word?
