The National Digital Inclusion Network is made up of over 5,000 organisations across the UK. These organisations, called Digital Inclusion Hubs, are all working to fix the digital divide in their local communities. They deliver our digital inclusion services to help people access or learn how to use the internet for free.
Formerly known as the Online Centres Network, the National Digital Inclusion Network was founded in 2011 to tackle the digital divide at a local level. Digital Inclusion Hubs are trusted places that reach and engage people who aren’t online through local interventions and informal support. They offer digital inclusion services in different ways, depending on the type of organisation and what their community needs. They may focus on providing internet access, devices or free digital skills sessions - or a combination of all three digital inclusion barriers.
Without the National Digital Inclusion Network’s hard work and local efforts, we wouldn’t have been able to reach thousands of digitally-excluded people that have already accessed our services.

How we support the National Digital Inclusion Network
We enable organisations in the National Digital Inclusion Network to deliver free digital inclusion support to their local communities.
Members of the Network can access these services for their communities:
- Free mobile data packages through the National Databank
- Free refurbished devices through the National Device Bank
- Free digital skills training through our flagship online platform, Learn My Way, helping people gain confidence to use the internet
- Additional membership benefits like training, networking and grant opportunities
“Learn My Way, the data and devices from being in the Network are all very useful to us… We receive devices to give to users, we provide training and distribute devices to the people who need them. Now we’re helping other organisations to break the digital exclusion barriers in their communities.
Because Good Things Foundation are able to reach out to bigger organisations and government officials, it means the issue of digital exclusion is being taken more seriously, and that’s helping grassroots organisations like us so we can show the need for the issue of digital exclusion to be addressed. So working with Good Things and being a part of the Network is really important to us."
