Digital Health Hubs evaluation for the NHS Widening Digital Participation Programme
An evaluation report of our Digital Health Hubs, run as part of the NHS Widening Digital Participation Programme
Digital Health Hubs is part of the NHS Widening Digital Participation Programme delivered by Good Things Foundation. The strand has funded different kinds of community-based organisations to test the hypothesis that dedicated community locations with trusted people on-hand to guide can help socially and digitally excluded people to improve their online skills and access relevant information and tools (both online and in their local area) to improve their health and wellbeing.
The programme sits alongside other initiatives such as social prescribing and within a wider policy drive to see more alignment between the voluntary sector and public health priorities.
The evaluation was planned and carried out in collaboration with Good Things and focused on a sample of 12 digital health hubs.
