West Midlands Digital Inclusion Services

Free mobile SIM cards with data packages for individuals experiencing data poverty in the West Midlands. Get connected, today!

Free Mobile Data with the National Databank

Is staying connected a struggle in your household? Do rising data costs leave you feeling cut off from essential services, job opportunities, and loved ones? The National Databank in West Midlands, powered by Good Things Foundation, is here to help!

We provide free mobile SIM cards with data packages to individuals and families experiencing data poverty in the West Midlands. And from March 11-15, there will be Databanks popping up across Birmingham, Dudley and Wolverhampton thanks to funding provided by the West Midlands Combined Authority and support from Birmingham City Council, Dudley Council and City of Wolverhampton Council.

The support you’ll receive:

  • Free mobile data: Stay connected with essential services like healthcare, job searching, education, and government support.
  • Social inclusion: Connect with friends, family, and your community, reducing feelings of isolation.
  • Reduced financial burden: Free data means more money for other essentials like food and housing.

Who is eligible?

The National Databank is open to individuals and families in the West Midlands facing financial hardship and struggling to afford mobile data.

Visit one of our pop-up Databanks in West Midlands from 11 – 15 March 2024. We’re working with local organisations to host additional Databank sessions, where you can access a pre-paid mobile SIM card, in neighbourhoods near you.

The local organisations are all members of the National Digital Inclusion Network and will be able to help you, should you need more support to access digital.
